Deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) (dee oksi ry bo ny klik) It is the protein that makes the gene. It is present in the nucleus of all cells. It passes on the inherited character from one cell to the next generation of cells. It controls the present life process of the cell in respect of proteins to be produced and other such functions.



Depression A mental state of despair that persists producing lack of interest in events and self



Dermatitis (der ma ty tis) Any inflammatory condition of the skin. It may be due to allergic reaction, microbe infection, or parasites. A physician should be consulted


Dermatology A science concerned with disorders of skin. A physician trained in this study is a dermatologist.
