Glossary Medical Terms 17

Technical terms come up in discussion with your physician at various stages of your meeting/ encounters with him.
 If the meaning of these terms is lost on you, you do not benefit from the discussion.
 It is therefore important that you understand the meaning and content of these terms.
This not only helps you to understand fully what is said but also helps you to ask question to clarify issues raised by your understanding.

Blood Groups The antigens in the blood  are :

Blood Pressure The pressure exerted by blood on the wall of the arteries.can be measured with the help of of a

Blood Sugar The level of sugar in the blood normal values 80-120 mg/lt
Blood Transfusion The giving of blood to patients who have lost blood due to surgery or injuries.
