Etopic beat (ek top ik) Abnormal site in heart for origin for stimulating of heart beat. It causes an irregular beat.

Ectopic pregnancy  The ovum fertilises outside the uterus (in the fallopian tubes) and is implanted at this abnormal site. It is a dangerous situation since the pregnancy seldom lasts beyond two months. The patient presents with acute abdominal pain and loss of blood. Immediate surgery is required

Ectropion (ek tro pe un) Outward turning of eyelid generally due to facial nerve paralysis. Inward turning is called entropion. Treatment is surgery.

Eczema (ek zee ma) Redness, itching, inflammation of skin. It is not infectious and may be due to:
allergy, reaction to chemicals, or constitutional abnormality
