Myocardial Infarction (Heart Attack)
This occurs in people with closed coronary arteries, the arteries are narrowed by deposit of
cholesterol and any fresh blood clot at this narrow site results in a block in the flow.
An area of the heart muscle will loose it’s blood supply, this cause damage or death of these muscle
cells. This is also called a "heart attack"
How to recognise
Severe crushing pain occurs all of sudden in the chest, this may also spread to left arm and neck.
There is sweating, and breathing difficulty, with these symptoms, you must call a physician
and on his advice go to an equipped hospital.
