BACK PAIN

Back Pain 3

Post Back Injury

Self care

Healing will occur quickly if you can continue you’re usual
activities in a gentle manner while avoiding what may have caused
the pain in the first place.
Pain free activity is the answer.
Avoid long periods of bed rest, which can worsen your pain and
make your muscles weaker.
With proper care of a strain or sprain, you should notice steady
improvement within the first 2 weeks.
Most back pain is much better in 6 weeks.
Sprained ligaments or severe muscle strains may take up to 12
weeks to heal.
This slow painless activity routine with recovery will also give you confidence in your healing ability.
The increasing range of painless movement, will also increase your “can do” empowerment
Once you have back pain, you're more prone to experience a repeat of painful episodes.
