COMMON AILMENTS A-Z

CONJUCTIVITIS (red eye)

Conjunctivitis is the inflammation of the thin transparent visible outer layer of the eye which looks red.

It could be due to a bacterial or viral infection, or an allergy.

It can also be due to an injury inside the eye which makes this disorder much more dangerous.

Thus it is wise to consult an eye physician in case of conjunctivitis.

He will prescribe albucid or antbiotic and low dose corticosteroids
