CONSTIPATION


CONSTIPATION

Constipation is the condition when a person is unable to pass feces daily. 
The feces is hard and the passing of feces painful.
Constipation can be caused by various factors.
Ignoring the urge to pass stool, 
Eating  a diet deficient in fiber (fruits,  fresh
vegetables, whole grain cereals),
Lack of exercise, 
drugs such as painkillers could cause constipation.

Self Care
To lessen your chances of constipation
* Try to eat on a regular schedule, and eat plenty of high-fiber
  foods,  including  fresh  fruits,  vegetables  and   whole-grain
  cereals and breads.
* Drink 8 to 10 glasses of water or other liquids daily
* Increase your physical activity
* Don't ignore the urge to have a bowel movement
  Try fiber supplements such as Isabgol
* Do not depend on laxatives.
