DENGUE FEVER
This fever is caused by a group of four viruses and occurs in India and world wide.
The transmission is by a mosquito.
The fever is accompanied by body joint and muscle pains.
Headache is common in dengue fever
The dengue hemorrhagic fever (DHF) is more serious can lead to death because of Bleeding, and shock
There is no specific treatment except
Nutrition and fluid balance
Pain killers
Blood platelets for DHF
Self care
Prevent mosquito breeding in and around your house
No standing water in pools and puddles ( drain your cooler)
Wear long sleeves and socks in the dengue season
Use mosquito repellants at night
