HEEL PAIN
Pain in the heel occurs in those who have an occupation that requires standing for long periods
The pain is most severe in the morning, the first few steps, and is less as the daily activity
proceeds.
It usually present on one side
There is some tenderness on pressure on the heel
Xray of the heel bone may show a bony spur
Self care
Insert soft arch support for the heel.
Try cycling for exercise instead of walking or jogging.
Swimming is an alternate exercise routine.
