HERNIA
The most common hernia is a protrusion of intestine or fat through the groin canal
In the lower abdominal wall
It presents as a bulge in the groin, you may have some pain
The bulge goes away when you lay down on your back.
You may have a dull ache in the groin with no bulge
Similar protrusions may aldo occur in the midline
Above the umbilicus(Epigastric hernia
)
At the umbilicus(Umbilical hernia)
Below the umbilicus
