Radiation   Exposure to electromagnetic energy  waves or ions for treatment, or experienced during accidents in a nuclear power station

Radiograph   The use of X-ray to obtain an image of the internal structure on a radiosensitive film

Radiology (ra di ol eji )  A branch of medicine that uses radiation for diagnosis and treatment

Radium   An element present in nature that emits radiation. It is used in treatment of tumours .
