 If the meaning of these terms is lost on you, you do not benefit from the discussion.
 It is therefore important that you understand the meaning and content of these terms.
This not only helps you to understand fully what is said but also helps you to ask question to clarify issues raised by your understanding. 
 Given below are the terms which you would come across in the discussion.

Quadriplegia ( Qwad ro ple jea ) Paralysis of all the limbs ,usually due to injury to the spine to the neck.

Quarantine (kwor en teen)Isolating a person after exposure to an infectious disease to prevent further contact with other. The length of period in quarantine depends on the incubation period of the disease

Quickening (kwik e ning ) Movement of the fetus in the uterus felt by the mother.

Rabies (ra beez)    A virus causing a fatal disease. The virus is transmitted by dogs, bats and jackals through their saliva (bite) to other animal including man. The result is fatal if the victim is not vaccinated
