Rhinoplasty  (ry no plas ti)  Cosmetic surgery to improve the appearance of the nose

Rickets   Bone disease in children caused by deficiency of vitamin D. There is a diminished deposition of calcium in the bone leading to deformity.

Rigor  (ry ger) Attacks of shivering along with high fever. It also occurs in extreme cold.

Ringworm   Infection of skin by a fungus. The ringworm produces raised red ring shaped patched in the groin, with intensive itching
