Technical terms come up in discussion with your physician at various stages of your meeting/ encounters with him.
 If the meaning of these terms is lost on you, you do not benefit from the discussion.
 It is therefore important that you understand the meaning and content of these terms.
This not only helps you to understand fully what is said but also helps you to ask question to clarify issues raised by your understanding.

Venipuncture  The entry  into a vein for infusion or intravenous injection
Venous thrombosis   ( ve nus throm bo sis) Formation of clot within  a vein and prolonged activity the of patient
Vertigo   A sensation of loss of balance. Cause could be ear disease , alcohol and drug  intake.
Virilism  (viri lizm )  Male characteristics in a woman or child. It is associated with excess testosterone.
