REPRODUCTION MALE

HUMAN BODY

MALE ORGANS

Epididymis The storehouse of sperm

This is the very long fine caliber coiled tube situated behind the testis. freshly formed sperm from the testis are stored here and become mature during their stay here.

The Vas Deferens from storehouse to exit port

This is a thick walled narrow tube that carries the mature sperm from the testis to the urethra within the prostate. There are two vas, one on each side,10 inches in length and have muscle fiber in their wall.

The Penis The sperm dropper

This organ is made of muscular tissue with large blood channels.

The outlet of these channels can be closed when required. Thus this organ becomes firm (erectile) and can enter the female reproductive tract to deposit the sperm close to the lower opening of the uterus.
