TYPHOID FEVER
 
This is a infection of the intestines with salmonella typhi.
The bacteria enters your intestines through infected food or water.
Often this occurs because of  food handelers.who are carriers of the diease.
Strict code of food handelers should be hygiene(hand washing) and elimination of carriers from food handling duties
Symptoms
Fever
Headache
Weakness
Pain in the abdomen  
Rash
Treatment
 
Antibiotics for fever Ciprofloxacin is the choice in this infection
Supportive intravenous feeding till fever controlled
Self care
 
Typhoid inoculation before any travel plan to endemic areas
Avoid any unsafe water or food while outside the home
