 If the meaning of these terms is lost on you, you do not benefit from the discussion.
 It is therefore important that you understand the meaning and content of these terms.
This not only helps you to understand fully what is said but also helps you to ask question to clarify issues raised by your understanding.

Orchitis  (or ky tis)  An inflammation of the testis, as in mumps

Orgasm    (or gazm) A physiologic state where during intercourse the partners reach a pleasurable climax.

Orthodontics   The branch of dentistry that corrects abnormal position of teeth

Orthopaedics    Study of bones and joints

Orthopnea    (or thop nea)   Shortness of breath; the patient has to sit up to improve his breathing capacity
