Technical terms come up in discussion with your physician at various stages of your meeting/ encounters with him.
 If the meaning of these terms is lost on you, you do not benefit from the discussion.

 Given below are the terms which you would come across in the discussion.

Tracheotomy  ( tra ki os tomi )  An opening into the trachea to provide entry for on air ( oxygen ) . It is useful in cases of obstruction to the upper air passage.

Traction   Pulling bones to align them. It is frequently used for treating fracture.

Transfusion    Introduction of blood directly in to a vein  , in cases of blood loss.

Tremor ( trem er ) Involuntary shaking of hands as a result of age or loss of fine muscle control
